About Us
WAMBA builds, maintains, and rides mountain biking and multi-purpose trails at Munny Sokol Park, Lake Lurleen State Park, and Hurricane Creek Park.
Established in 2008, the West Alabama Mountain Biking Association (WAMBA) is a mountain biking organization that is dedicated to promoting trail building and mountain biking.
The WAMBA organization main objective is to help keep the trails you ride available for all mountain bikers.
With the guidance and direction of the Southern Off-Road Bicycle Association (SORBA), which is the largest nonprofit mountain biking organization in the Southeast, we are able to work towards establishing relationships with land managers and policy makers to create just and responsible policies governing the use of public and private lands for bikers and those that have a passion for the great outdoors.
